On September 13, 2025, Lagos welcomed the 3R Eco Festival, a joyful, community-powered celebration of ecological awareness, creativity, and sustainable living. Co-initiated together with the LILAC art group, SOMAR Organisation, LACO Business Hub and Cadela Carlota Charity,  the event brought together dozens of artists, volunteers, and local businesses to showcase workshops in upcycling — including bidet-planters, roof tile painting, and textile art — alongside eco-fashion swaps, food & drink stalls, a kids’ corner, DJ music, and educational programs.

The festival lived up to its theme Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, inspiring attendees to take small but meaningful steps toward protecting our planet.
