Traces of the Earth
Group exhibition
SztuKaFe Gallery
Busko - Zdrój
IV - VI 2025
Seven artists — Beata Pałach, Dominika Wojtylak, Emilia Gąsienica-Setlak, Eliza Wilczyńska, Jola Wójcik, Lidia Lesiecka, and Marta Lachman — who make up the women’s creative group “ArtTak,” represent diverse artistic movements and techniques. In their joint exhibition at the SztuKaFe Gallery in Busko-Zdrój, they presented specially prepared works that attempt an artistic definition of “Traces of the Earth” through a variety of contrasting styles, techniques, and narratives, skillfully curated by Wojciech Kurzeja.
ArtTak Group is a collective created by women for whom art is not only a form of expression, but also a space for exchanging thoughts, experiences, and ideas. A shared sensitivity and need for creation unite artists who represent diverse styles, techniques, and creative approaches. The exhibition “Traces of the Earth” at Galeria SztuKaFe is a reflection on the relationship between humans and nature, on the impact of time on the landscape, and on the traces we leave on this planet.
At the exhibition, Beata presented eco-friendly paintings created using organic paints and natural pigments. Drawing inspiration from nature, she does not depict it literally, but instead creates her own organic forms—poetic records of the processes occurring in the natural world.
In her works, the artist delves into the earth, exploring its structure and hidden layers. Her paintings resemble microscopic cross-sections of rocks, minerals, or tree roots, revealing worlds invisible to the human eye. It is subtle yet powerful art—reflecting the rhythms of nature, its changeability, and hidden harmony.
“Traces of the Earth” is not just an exhibition of painting and textile art—it is a poetic narrative about our relationship with the natural world, about transience, life cycles, and the marks we leave behind. It is an invitation to contemplation, but also to reflect on our impact on the surrounding reality.
