Being part of an artistic community is an important part of my practice. I am a member of three art groups, each with its own character, location and approach to art. Being part of these diverse communities gives me the opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and discover new perspectives.
Regular meetings with fellow artists create space for conversation, collaboration and mutual inspiration, reminding us that although creating art can be an individual process, it also grows through connection with others.
artTak
The “artTAK” group, founded in 2022 in Kraków Poland, is a collective of female artists united by a shared passion for creation and collaboration. Coming from diverse backgrounds and artistic styles, we support each other, share knowledge, and organize art events. Our mission is to bring “living” art beyond museums and galleries to those who need it most. In our joint exhibitions we present a selection of paintings, sculptures and art instalations exploring resilience and visions of a brighter future.
Algarve Artists Network
Algarve Artists Network (AAN) is a group of professional artists, formed in 2006 to support one another through the exchange of creative and administrative ideas, knowledge and skills. Its members come from Portugal, other European countries and around the world, bringing together diverse artistic perspectives in the warm and inspiring environment of Portugal.
I joined the group in 2024, and since then I have had the opportunity to take part in several major exhibitions such as Planeta Azul, as well as inspiring meetings and creative exchanges with fellow artists.
LILAC
LILAC – Living in Lagos Artists Collective is a group of women artists based in Lagos, Algarve, who came together through a shared passion for art, creativity and community. Founded by five artists from different cultural and artistic backgrounds, LILAC creates opportunities for collaboration, exhibitions, workshops and creative exchange.
Being part of LILAC has given me a strong sense of artistic community and a space to connect, share ideas and support one another. I value the diversity of perspectives within the group and the opportunity to create projects that bring art closer to the local community.
